WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by EN, EN ISO (Europe), API, ASTM (USA), DIN, WL (Germany), BS ISO (UK), GOST R, TU (Russia) as well as by ISO/DIS and ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 14,000 grades to 339,830 grades now.

During the last calendar year (4th quarter of 2017 - 3rd quarter of 2018) 41,137 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on Russian producer of finned bimetallic tubes ChemStroyProject and two new managing companies. 20 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business. 7 plants resumed their activity and are available in the database again.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 693 plants including 69 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 38 mills as well as contact data of 66 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by EN, EN ISO (Europe), ASTM (USA), WL (Germany), BS ISO (UK),
TU (CIS countries), ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM and several EN (Europe) standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database grew by near 11,500 grades to 196,791 grades now.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 4 new plants was included in the database. These are Russian producers of extruded Al profiles 25 Micron and AlumoProf, of finned bimetallic tubes ChemStroyProject and of wire rods of Al and Cu alloys Epromet. 1 plant was deleted from 
the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 380 plants including 10 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 7 plants as well as contact data of 19 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

In version 9, we realized the idea of a modular principle for our software. We do not have separate executable programs for each of the products more. Now there 
is one general executable program that combines all the features both searching for steels and alloys and their equivalents and searching for manufacturers of steel and non-ferrous products. So a user himself has opportunity to assemble a product he needs from separate modules, adapting it to fit his requirements.

Now we offer three products only:

WinSteel 9	with modules: Steels - compositions and equivalents; Steels - properties; Steels - manufacturers in CIS; Module for joint operation with spectrometers.
WinAlloy 9	with modules: Non-ferrous - compositions and equivalents; Non-ferrous - manufacturers in CIS; Module for joint operation with spectrometers.
GetGrade 9	with main modules: Steels - compositions; Non-ferrous - compositions; Module for joint operation with spectrometers.  and additional modules: Steels - equivalents; Non-ferrous - equivalents; Steels - properties; Steels - manufacturers in CIS; Non-ferrous - manufacturers in CIS.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by EN, EN ISO (Europe), API (USA), BS ISO (UK), GOST R (Russia) as well as by
ISO/DIS, ISO and UIC standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM and several EN (Europe) standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 325,551 now.

WinAlloy. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by EN (Europe), ASTM (USA), GOST (CIS countries) as well as by EEMUA standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM, several EN (Europe) and one GOST R (Russia) standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 185,300 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. We added in the database information on Novomoscovsk Metal Construction Works - new Russian producer of roll-formed 
channels and welded I-beams. 15 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business. 1 plant resumed its activity and is available in the database again.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 705 plants including 70 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 25 mills as well as contact data of 46 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 2 new plants was included in the database. These are Boguchany aluminium smelter - new asset of RUSAL and Russian producer of wire rods EM-KAT. 3 plants was deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 374 plants including 10 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 6 plants as well as contact data of 61 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

New versions of our software WinSteel 9, WinAlloy 9, WinPlant. BLACK 9 and WinPlant. RED 9 are availble now in Russian. Since October 1st, 2018 they will be available in English also.

For the first time, we launch new versions of all our products at the same time. This is due to the fact that general principles of their composing, were
changed. Now in version 9 we do not have separate executable programs for each of the products, but there is one total executable program that combines all the features both searching for steels and alloys and their equivalents, and searching for manufacturers of steel and non-ferrous products.

This enabled us to realize the idea of the modular principle of creating our products. Now a user himself has the opportunity to assemble a product he needs from separate modules, adapting it to solve his own problems.

Now we are ready to offer our users the following modules:

1. steels - compositions and equivalents,
2. steels - mechanical properties,
3. non-ferrous metals and alloys,
4. manufacturers of steel products,
5. manufacturers of non-ferrous products,
6. module for joint work with spectrometers.

It is not difficult to notice that the 1st module is WinSteel Base, combination of 1st and 2nd modules, is WinSteel Prof, the 3rd module is WinAlloy, the 4th and 5th are WinPlant. BLACK and WinPlant. RED respectively. Combination of 1st, 3rd and 6th modules, is our new software product GetGrade which reads files with compositions created by spectrometers and helps to find grade designations by defined compositions.

But it is possible to create other products also. For example, by combining modules 1, 2 and 4 or 3 and 5, you will have the opportunity not only to find information on steel or non-ferrous grades and their equivalents, but to find manufacturers of products of the grades also.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by ASTM, SAE AMS (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), GOST, GOST R, TU (CIS countries) as well as by ISO and ISO/DIS standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM and several SEW (Germany) and TU (CIS countries) standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 316,400 now.

WinAlloy. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), GOST R (CIS countries) and ISO standards.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 180,086 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 4 new mills and 3 managing companies was added in the database. These are Russian and Ukrainian producers of drill steel tubes, wire and roll-formed sheet profiles. 18 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business. 4 plants resumed their activities and are available in the database again.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 718 plants including 70 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 30 mills as well as contact data of 59 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 4 new plants and new managing company, was included in the database. These are Russian manufacturers of products of copper alloys and solders. 1 plants was deleted from the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 373 plants including 10 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 8 plants as well as contact data of 30 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), GB/T (China), GOST, GOST R (CIS countries) as well as by ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM, ASME (USA), GB (China) and ISO standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 305,743 now.

WinAlloy. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), DIN SPEC (Germany), GOST, GOST R (CIS countries) and ISO standards. Information on alloys included in several ASTM (USA), JIS (Japan) and ISO standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 179,745 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 7 new mills was added in the database. These are Russian and Ukrainian producers of steel tubes, forgings, wire, bars and rods. 4 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 724 plants including 73 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 33 mills as well as contact data of 40 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 4 new plants was included in the database. These are Russian manufactures of products of Ti-based alloys and secondary Cu-, Al-, Zn-based alloys. 3 plants were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 366 plants including 10 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 10 plants as well as contact data of 18 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

Since January 1st 2018 we started to sell subscriptions of web applications WinSteel Online and WinAlloy Online.

We don't consider WinSteel Online and WinAlloy Online as separate products now as our web applications don't include all the features of the main desktop versions currently. So the web applications can not replace the desktop versions for the time being. For this reason the subscription
for online versions is available for current WinSteel and WinAlloy users only as additional feature in bounds of their support.

You can run WinSteel Online and WinAlloy Online on not only PCs under Windows but on Macs also as well as on tablets and smartphones under any operation system including Windows, Android, Linux, MacOS, iOS with help of any browser. This allows to consider the Web applications as an indispensable tool for immediate access to the complete WinSteel and WinAlloy databases when you are out of your office and you don't have access to the base desktop software versions.


Cost of the subscriptions for web applications:

• WinSteel Online - €130 / $180 per year;
• WinAlloy Online - €90 / $120 per year.


The subscription is not obligatory. You can subscribe only if you need.


We understand that it is convenient for our users to pay for the support and subscription for web applications at once. So during this year we declare a transition period. In bounds of this period we offer our users two possible variants of synchronization of the support and online subscription terms.

1. Initially not all of the year can be paid immediately, but only a number of months left until the end of the current support. Subscription for the next 12 months will be paid along with the next support.


2. In case if a customer can't pay for the subscription now, we are ready to give him the opportunity to operate with our web applications on credit until the end of his current support period. In this case, we need a signed confirmation letter from you where your company guaranties to pay for not only subscription for the online applications provided on credit, but for the support and subscription for the web applications for the next 12 months also.

In case the synchronization of the support and online subscription, is not actual for a customer of course it is possible to pay separately.
